EyeSight Hawaii – Maui is located in the 4-story Kahului Office Building in Kahului, above Central Pacific Bank and Bistro Casanova on the southwest corner of Lono & Kaahumanu Avenue.

To get to our office, enter the building through the double glass doors, take the elevator to the 2nd floor, and as you exit the elevator, take an immediate left and you will see our office, Suite 260.

EyeSight Hawaii’s eye care, corneal surgery procedures, laser vision correction surgeries vision services has improved the eyesight of thousands of people around the world. At EyeSight Hawaii, we offer an array of the most advanced procedures and eye care using the latest technology to improve your vision, keep your eyes healthy and enhance the overall quality of your life.

Our laser vision correction surgeries, such as LASIK and PRK eye surgery, are performed at our award winning laser eye center by Dr. Hirabayashi and Dr. Olkowski. Our laser eye center is located in Honolulu, Hawaii and is used exclusively by our physicians solely for EyeSight Hawaii patients so we can be more flexible with our scheduling and accommodate even the busiest schedules.

Our Team

Your Eye Care Specialists

John Olkowski, MD

Founder and chief surgeon of EyeSight Hawaii

He is a fellowship-trained corneal surgery specialist practicing in Hawaii since 1990. He has performed thousands of laser vision correction surgeries, even on other LASIK surgeons. Dr. Olkowski is experienced in dry eye treatment, corneal, cataract and laser vision correction surgeries including LASIK, PRK and VisianICL surgery. 

Kristin Hirabayashi, MD

Ophthalmologist

Dr. Hirabayashi is an eye surgeon who specializes in cornea, cataract, and refractive laser eye surgery, such as LASIK and PRK.  As a fellowship-trained cornea surgeon, she specializes in the diagnosis and management of cornea and ocular surface diseases.

Michael Dash, OD

Optometrist

Dr. Dash is a Native Hawaiian Health Scholar and a member of the Hawaii Optometric Association and American Optometric Association. He proudly volunteers his professional time providing eye care services to Native Hawaiian communities on Oahu and Maui.

Been going to EyeSight Hawaii and seeing Dr. Olkowski for over 5 years. Everyone at the office is so pleasant. The doctor’s office is like no other office that I’ve ever gone to. It is huge, very clean and decorated nicely. I love that the location is close to home and there are a lot of buses that pass through Dillingham that I can catch to get here. Anyhoo, service, doctor, staff, and location are all great here =)
