EyeSight Hawaii – Maui is located in the 4-story Kahului Office Building in Kahului, above Central Pacific Bank and Bistro Casanova on the southwest corner of Lono & Kaahumanu Avenue.
To get to our office, enter the building through the double glass doors, take the elevator to the 2nd floor, and as you exit the elevator, take an immediate left and you will see our office, Suite 260.

At EyeSight Hawaii, we offer an array of the most advanced procedures and eye care using the latest technology to improve your vision, keep your eyes healthy and enhance the overall quality of your life.
Our laser vision correction surgeries, such as LASIK and PRK eye surgery, are performed at our award winning laser eye center by Dr. Hirabayashi and Dr. Olkowski. Our laser eye center is located in Honolulu, Hawaii and is used exclusively by our physicians solely for EyeSight Hawaii patients so we can be more flexible with our scheduling and accommodate even the busiest schedules.

Monika Malecha, MD
Ophthalmologist
Dr. Malecha is an ophthalmologist with 25 years of experience in ophthalmology who diagnoses and treats medical and surgical eye conditions in patients of all ages. She performs cataract surgery on Maui. Dr. Malecha is the only full-time fellowship trained corneal specialist on the island. Dr. Malecha is excited to be a part of the Eyesight Hawaii and strives to provide the best medical and surgical ophthalmology care to her patients.
John Olkowski, MD
Founder and chief surgeon of EyeSight Hawaii
He is a fellowship-trained corneal surgery specialist practicing in Hawaii since 1990. He has performed thousands of laser vision correction surgeries, even on other LASIK surgeons. Dr. Olkowski is experienced in dry eye treatment, corneal, cataract and laser vision correction surgeries including LASIK, PRK and VisianICL surgery.
